East and Southern Africa:
March 21 - April 6, 2008

March 21 - April 6, 2008-- Africare led a group of 10 major donors to East and Southern Africa in Spring 2008. The two-week trip included stops in South Africa, Uganda and Tanzania to look at some of Africare’s development projects in Agriculture, Water, and Health & HIV/AIDS. In addition, the group had a chance to see some of Africa's most treasured destinations, including visits to Ngorongoro Crater and the Cape of Good Hope. West Africa:
January 22 - February 3, 2009

The 2009 Major Donor Trip to West Africa will take place Winter 2009. The two week trip will include stops in Mali, Senegal, and Ghana, for tours of historic landmarks and Africare development projects in Water, Food Security, and Health & HIV/AIDS.

For the first time, interested donors will be able to submit on-line bids to secure their seat on the 2009 trip. Five seats will be auctioned off to the highest bidders beginning November 3rd, 2008.
